Frequently Asked Healthcare Coverage Questions

Smiling Family Lying On The Bed — Aurora, CO — Katherine Moskal Health Plans
  • What services do I offer?

I help self-employed, independent contractors, small businesses, individuals,

and families under the age of 65 find the best health insurance option for them.

I can assist with benefit explanations, the application process, customer service,

and finding a new in-network doctor.

I also offer dental, vision, and supplemental insurance.

  • Are there any fees associated with using my services?

No, all my services are entirely free to you!

  • What are insurance quotes based on?

They are based on several factors such as age, zip code, tobacco use, and income, and depending on the plan; your health could be a factor.

  • Can I help with offering benefits to your employees?

Yes, I can help with under 50 employees. We can offer them health, dental, vision, and supplemental.

  • Can I get insurance Outside of Open Enrollment?

Yes, some options are available year around. Depending on your situation, I may suggest you wait until Open Enrollment.

  • I live out of state. Can you still help me?

Yes, I am licensed in 32 states and have referral partners for states I am not in.

  • How long does it take to get insurance in place?

It depends on your situation, but it could be as soon as the following day or the 1st of the following month.

  • I don't know anything about health insurance; where do I start?

That is 100% okay! Most people don't know anything about health insurance.

I will explain everything, including deductibles, networks, copays, max out of pockets, pros, and cons, and more!

I am here to educate you on your options and point you in the right direction.

  • What health insurance options do you have access to?

I can shop all the plans in the state. I am a broker through the marketplace and also have options available privately.

  • Should I go online and buy a plan myself?

NO! There are options that you need to be a licensed agent to have access to, so you are not seeing everything

available to you online. You are also likely going to get 100 calls and texts within the first day of putting your information online.

Many people don’t know that having a broker/agent manages their account is at no cost to them.

So going online yourself and trying to apply yourself, you miss out on a ton of free services. There is also a

chance you will have mistakes on your application which could affect you when you do your tax return

the following year. The benefits of having an agent on your account are first being able to make sure your application is correct,

you are getting the advanced premium tax credits (if they apply to you), being able to help with claims, help find

in-network doctors and answer questions outside of customer service hours.
